Enchanting witch Halloween pattern at Stitching Cards

An enchanting witch pattern has been added at the Stitching Cards website. The sexy witch on a broomstick flying across the moon would make a great Halloween card for teenage girls.

This year Halloween falls on Sunday, the 31st of October 2010. Witches have had a long association with Halloween. Legends tell of witches gathering twice a year when the seasons changed, on April 30, the eve of May Day and again on the eve of October 31, All Hallows’ Eve.

It is said that witches would arrive on broomsticks to celebrate at a party hosted by the devil. Superstitions tell of witches casting spells on unsuspecting people, transform themselves into different forms and causing other magical mischief.

It was once believed that if you wanted to meet a witch on Halloween night you should put your clothes on inside out and walk backwards. Then at midnight you would see a witch. If this has worked for you let us know in a comment to this post.
