A pattern featuring a Diwali lamp has been added to the Stitching Cards collection. The design features a Diwali lamp with stars and the words Happy Diwali. This is a major Indian festival that is significant in Hinduism, Sikhism, and Jainism. Known as the “Festival of Lights”, lamps are lit as a sign of celebration and hope for humankind. This year Diwali falls on 13 November 2012.
The pattern size is 152 mm x 104 mm (6 x 4½ inches).
