A Beautiful Alcohol Ink card by Judi Lipinski
 
 
Materials Used:
 
  • Glossy Cardstock
  • White Linen A6 Card (The value packs are a really nice white)
  • Alcohol Inks : Stream and Wild Plum from Nature Walk Set and Stonewashed from Miner's Lantern Set
  • Alocohol Ink Applicator and Felt Pads
  • Stamp from Hero Arts (from set LL186 Flower Design Paisleys)
  • Black Stazon Ink Pad
  • Krylon Silver Leafing Pen
  • Small Square Shell Buttons - deep pink
  • Ribbon Hot Pink Organdy
Method
 
  • Start with a glossy card 6cm by 12cm
  • Apply a small amount of each alcohol ink to applicator and apply to card, lifing and twisting applicator as you go
  • Ink stamp with Stazon and stamp image three times down the centre of the prepared glossy card alternating the direction of the pattern
  • Then trim so that the pattern is central and edge with the silver Krylon pen
  • Fix the ribbon down the side of the white card, attach your finished artwork over the ribbon, using foam pads
  • Now colour the buttons with the Wild Plum ink and allow to dry.  Then stick them to the bottom right-hand side of the card
