Card Art Shapes and Papers Card 3

Description

A square purple card is decorated with patterned paper and funky flowers card shapes.

Materials used

• Bazzill Cardstock Monochromatic Purple Heather (12 x 12 range).
• Card Art co-ordinated prints 3.
• Card Art Funky Flowers – printed cards accessory pack.
• A sheet of silver card.
• ’Have a Wonderful Day’ self adhesive sticker.
• Card adhesive such as a glue stick
• Double-sided mini foam pads.

Method

Cut a strip of heather card to 144 mm x 288 mm (5 ½ x 11 inches). Fold this in half to form a square greetings card.

Cut a strip of silver card to 144 mm x 60 mm (5 ½ x 2 inches). Mount this on the front of the greetings card, about 15 mm (½ inch) from the top, with card adhesive.

Cut a strip of purple/pink crosshatch decorative paper to 144 mm x 50 mm (5 ½ x 2 inches). Mount this on the middle front of the silver strip with card adhesive.

Add three purple with white dots funky flowers to the decorative strip using double sided mini foam pads.

As an optional extra you can decorate the centre of the flower with dots saved from bits left over on a silver self-adhesive sticker. Or you can add miniature jewels for extra sparkle.

Add a ‘Have A Wonderful Day’ self adhesive sticker below the silver strip using the illustration as a guide.
